What you would do
- Manage full medical billing lifecycle from charge entry to collections
- Lead and motivate a team of billing staff
- Present trend reports and insights to leadership
- Ensure claims comply with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer, and HIPAA standards
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Train new staff and serve as billing operations expert
Must have
- 2-5 years of medical billing experience
- At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
- Experience with billing platforms like Emomed, Trizetto, Gateway EDI, or Availity
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and formulas
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Confidence to lead meetings and present to executives
