What you would do
- Greet and prepare patients for dental care
- Assist orthodontist during patient treatments
- Anticipate orthodontist needs and prepare next steps
- Remove and place arch wires
- Prepare teeth for bonding
- Accurately chart patient data on computer
Must have
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with sterilization and OSHA guidelines
- Previous experience in orthodontic assisting
- Ability to travel between clinic locations
- Bilingual communication skills
