What you would do
- Prepare and post routine journal entries with proper documentation
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare recurring close and audit schedules from templates
- Maintain organized, audit-ready workpaper files
- Meet deadlines within the close calendar
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or internship experience
- Foundational knowledge of GAAP
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish
- Functional written and verbal English
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in San Juan metro area
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Nice to have
- Coursework or experience in hospital or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with an ERP or general ledger system
- Coursework or internship exposure to external audit procedures
- Active progress toward CPA certification
- Basic familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle concepts
- Strong written English in addition to Spanish
