What you would do
- Maintain accurate machine shop production schedules and achievable targets.
- Use ERP capacity planning tools to recommend scheduling adjustments.
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to minimize past-due orders.
- Monitor production capacity, workload, and critical component availability.
- Establish delivery dates and estimate production timelines based on various factors.
- Recommend optimal lot sizes based on production requirements and demand.
Must have
- Associate's degree in manufacturing field or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years in manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain.
- Proficiency with a company ERP system.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to create and understand reports for production decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365.
- Experience using and creating reports in Power BI.
- Two or more years in project management.
