What you would do

  • Collaborate with research and engineering teams to identify knowledge gaps in infrastructure domains.
  • Design realistic technical challenges covering Kubernetes, AWS, automation, and production operations.
  • Develop accurate and detailed reference solutions for complex infrastructure engineering scenarios.
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated technical solutions for correctness, reliability, and security.
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback highlighting technical gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Create detailed evaluation criteria, rubrics, and benchmarks for infrastructure reasoning.

Must have

  • 4+ years professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on production experience managing Kubernetes, including troubleshooting cluster failures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes beyond writing manifests or using managed control planes.
  • Production experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Strong practical knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production workloads.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation, deployment, observability, and reliability.
  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing ownership in infrastructure or DevOps.
  • Ability to commit reliably to 40 hours per week during standard weekdays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing distributed systems failures.

Nice to have

  • Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure or highly distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, security, storage, scaling, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience implementing infrastructure security and reliability best practices.
  • Knowledge of AWS architecture patterns and cloud-native application design.
  • Experience with GitOps, containerization, monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps and platform engineering methodologies.
  • Experience reviewing or evaluating technical documentation, solutions, or AI-generated outputs.
