About Revel

What you would do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance simulation software.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure for configuring and executing simulations.
- Work with users to develop new features and models and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with compiler, frontend, and product teams to integrate simulation.
- Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Address complex engineering challenges in simulation with innovative solutions.
Must have
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust.
- Proficiency in modern software engineering practices like testing and CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of physics and applied mathematics including thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Proficiency in modern web application design and best practices.
- Knowledge of numerical methods, differential equations, and integrators for physical simulation.
- Knowledge of safety-critical or mission-critical software development processes.
