What you would do
- Build large-scale machine learning and predictive modeling tools
- Analyze data from multiple sources to solve business problems
- Prototype ideas and demonstrate pros and cons clearly
- Acquire domain knowledge to inform model development
- Lead teams in programming best practices and new technologies
- Leverage AI tools for code generation, testing, and debugging
Must have
- Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, CS or related
- 5+ years related experience or combination of experience and education
- Mastery of programming skills in Python or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like DOMO, AWS Quicksight, Tableau
- Mastery of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong experience with SQL or noSQL and database management systems
- Experience deploying and monitoring models in production
- Strong understanding of the business domain
- Ability to translate business questions into analytics projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all audiences
- Familiarity with production code practices including unit testing, OOP, error handling, logging, contract testing, version control
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, CS or related field
- Experience developing and deploying models using Databricks and mlflow
- Experience with AWS tools including Lambda, Sagemaker, S3, Athena, Quicksight
- Experience with Agile software development
