What you would do
- Monitor and defend cloud systems against unauthorized access and breaches
- Lead security incident response including detection and recovery
- Implement methods to remediate network and application vulnerabilities
- Conduct security controls reporting and compliance audits
- Manage cloud security solutions including access and data protection
- Collaborate with teams to implement security best practices
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Minimum 8 years security engineering experience
- Minimum 3-5 years AWS Cloud Security services experience
- Experience with data analysis, risk assessment, and incident management
- AWS Certified Security certification required
- Experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, and antivirus tools
- Experience with AWS services like IAM, Security Hub, and CloudTrail
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and computer forensics
- Strong understanding of endpoint security and data loss prevention
- Lead engineer experience in enterprise IT environment
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms or data pipelines
- Basic understanding of ML lifecycle concepts
- GSEC, CISSP, or Security+ certification
- AWS Developer or Solutions Architect Associate certification
- AI/ML or data-related certifications
- Familiarity with ML components like data pipelines
- Understanding of data privacy in analytics environments
