What you would do
- Provide advanced network engineering support for DHS HSEN and LAN-A infrastructures
- Oversee software and hardware upgrades, patches, and configurations
- Offer Tier III network support and perform in-depth troubleshooting
- Participate in network modernization projects with engineering leadership
- Collaborate with DHS stakeholders, architects, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with DHS SELC, ITIL, FISMA, and NIST SP 800-53
Must have
- 15+ years of extensive network engineering experience
- Proven leadership in architecting complex enterprise network environments
- Active Secret DoD security clearance
- United States citizenship
- Ability to attain and maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)
- Pass a background check
Nice to have
- 10+ years directly supporting DHS LAN/WAN environments or DHS Components
- Proven expertise in leading successful DHS network modernization initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage, optimize, and secure large-scale enterprise networks
- Familiarity with DHS technical standards and operational environments
- Master's Degree in a relevant technical field
- Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
