What you would do
- Design and maintain ultra-low latency AWS and hybrid network topologies
- Optimize Linux OS kernels and compute performance using CPU isolation and enhanced networking
- Drive infrastructure automation and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible
- Architect infrastructure to support exchange and project market making expansions
- Build telemetry and monitoring pipelines using Grafana Cloud and Alloy
- Guide technical roadmap, mentor junior engineers, and lead incident escalations
Must have
- 5+ years in infrastructure, systems engineering, or SRE
- Experience in low-latency electronic trading environments
- Advanced Linux kernel performance tuning and memory management
- Network I/O optimization including isolcpus and ring buffers
- Experience with AWS low-latency constructs like Placement Groups and ENA
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, Aeron messaging, or colocation connectivity
- Familiarity with HFT workflows or crypto exchange API integrations
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Ansible
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and low-latency routing
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Jenkins
- Experience with Grafana Cloud, Alloy, or Prometheus monitoring
Nice to have
- Scripting in Python or Bash with Rust or Java development experience
- Experience with FPGAs, SmartNICs, or custom network driver tuning
- Knowledge of PTP or IEEE 1588 clock synchronization
