About CommodityAI
CommodityAI builds an operating system for the global commodities industry, managing billions in commercial contracts and interpreting trade data in real time.
What you would do
- Design and maintain backend APIs and data pipelines for high transaction volumes.
- Architect agentic systems and structured extraction pipelines for AI workflows.
- Deliver end-to-end features across React, TypeScript, Python, Go, and Node.
- Collaborate with customers and founding team to solve logistical problems.
- Own projects from architecture through deployment and monitoring.
Must have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience as early technical leader or core contributor at high-growth startup.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM or agent systems in production.
- Strong technical judgment for pragmatic trade-offs.
- End-to-end ownership of projects from architecture to monitoring.
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for in-person work.
