What you would do

  • Own end-to-end frontend architecture for checkout and payment flows
  • Improve checkout conversion through UX and performance tuning
  • Run A/B tests and analyze funnel performance with product and growth
  • Build seamless flows for payment retries, failures, and 3DS authentication
  • Optimize frontend performance including Core Web Vitals and latency
  • Collaborate with backend and payments teams to integrate APIs and PSPs

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of frontend engineering experience on high-impact products
  • Deep hands-on experience building and optimizing checkout or payment flows
  • Strong proficiency with React and Next.js
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalable UI architecture
  • Experience using experimentation, analytics, and UX iteration to improve conversion
  • Strong product intuition to turn data and behavior into improvements
  • Familiarity with payments infrastructure like Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, tokenization, 3DS
  • Strong collaborator and communicator across Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering

Nice to have

  • Experience with global payments, multi-currency flows, or crypto
