The role

The role involves building and scaling core payment systems, shipping customer experiences with React.js and serverless infrastructure, and owning features end-to-end. What you would do
- Build and scale core payment systems with focus on reliability, security, and performance
- Ship high-quality customer experiences using React.js and modern serverless infrastructure
- Own meaningful features end to end from design through launch and iteration
- Shape product and technology by bringing engineering perspective to product decisions
- Partner with Product, Design, Operations, and other teams to solve complex payment challenges
- Help raise engineering bar by improving how we build and scale systems
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience in fintech, payments, or fast-paced startup environment
- Strong experience with modern frontend development including React.js or similar frameworks
- Proven ability to own and deliver complex features and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Deep understanding of building scalable, reliable systems
- Exposure to cloud-based or serverless infrastructure
- Product-focused mindset with passion for building thoughtful, high-quality experiences
- Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams
- Builder mentality with curiosity, adaptability, and ownership in fast-moving startup
