The role
BitGo Labs is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to be the sole engineering owner of new products, taking them from initial concept to live launch within roughly ninety days. The role involves building the entire stack, integrating BitGo's infrastructure, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development. The position is based onsite in Palo Alto and involves working on multiple products in succession, some of which may be shut down based on performance.

What you would do
- Own the full engineering lifecycle of a product from first commit to launch.
- Make architecture decisions to enable shipping within a ninety-day timeline.
- Build frontend, backend, data, and deployment components for new products.
- Integrate BitGo's custody, wallet, stablecoin, and settlement APIs.
- Incorporate third-party vendors where purchasing is more efficient than building.
- Use AI tools as a force multiplier to increase development output.
Must have
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
- Experience building a product from nothing
- Proficiency in modern web frontend development
- Proficiency in API and service design
- Proficiency in data modeling
- Proficiency in cloud deployment
- Ability to use AI tools to significantly increase output
- Comfort with crypto or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to ship products over polishing them
- Ability to throw away code when products are shut down
- Willingness to work onsite in Palo Alto Monday to Friday
- Ability to work autonomously without a ticket queue
