What you would do
- Lead planning, design, and automated deployment of network architectures across data center, WAN, campus, and cloud.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies focusing on automation and cloud networking.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks including provisioning scripts and configuration templates.
- Integrate network management with DevOps practices using CI/CD pipelines.
- Guide transition to software-defined networking and API-driven programmability.
- Develop network strategies aligned with IT and business goals.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Four years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum seven years progressive network engineering experience
- Extensive background in enterprise network systems and programming
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for network automation
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Ansible, and Netmiko
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows for network configuration
- In-depth knowledge of software-defined networking architectures
- Strong background in BGP and OSPF routing protocols
- Firewall administration experience including Palo Alto and Cisco ASA
- Experience with load balancers and network access control
- Experience designing network connectivity across on-premise and Azure
Nice to have
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Familiarity with virtualization and container networking
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, and cloud VPC/VNet design
