What you would do

  • Lead planning, design, and automated deployment of network architectures across data center, WAN, campus, and cloud.
  • Evaluate and recommend new network technologies focusing on automation and cloud networking.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks including provisioning scripts and configuration templates.
  • Integrate network management with DevOps practices using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Guide transition to software-defined networking and API-driven programmability.
  • Develop network strategies aligned with IT and business goals.

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Four years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree
  • Minimum seven years progressive network engineering experience
  • Extensive background in enterprise network systems and programming
  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for network automation
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Ansible, and Netmiko
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows for network configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of software-defined networking architectures
  • Strong background in BGP and OSPF routing protocols
  • Firewall administration experience including Palo Alto and Cisco ASA
  • Experience with load balancers and network access control
  • Experience designing network connectivity across on-premise and Azure

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • Familiarity with virtualization and container networking
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, and cloud VPC/VNet design
