What you would do
- Architect and lead development of critical systems and infrastructure
- Partner with product and program leaders on engineering solutions
- Set and evolve technical standards across the organization
- Address tech debt and guide code review quality
- Coach and mentor engineers across teams
- Investigate and evaluate new technologies for innovation
Must have
- 12+ years engineering experience across multiple tech stacks
- Deep experience building and scaling distributed systems
- Proven technical leadership without formal authority
- Strong foundation in CI/CD, observability, automated testing, infrastructure as code
- Experience with cloud-native systems, preferably AWS
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Success in highly regulated environment, preferably healthcare
- Understanding of compliance and data protection like HIPAA
- Effective communicator for executive conversations and product strategy
- Passion for teaching and mentoring engineers
