What you would do
- Design and implement platform infrastructure for insurance systems
- Identify bottlenecks and build solutions to improve team velocity
- Own problems end-to-end considering scalability, operability, and metrics
- Implement reliability and performance improvements across the stack
- Iterate on existing platform tooling based on engineering feedback
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions
Must have
- 3-5 years building and maintaining production systems at scale
- Experience building distributed systems in Python or Go
- Strong understanding of modern API development best practices
- Familiarity with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment best practices
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with ability to drive work to completion
- Track record of building reliable systems without sacrificing velocity
