What you would do

  • Design and ship customer-facing APIs for new model capabilities
  • Scale inference infrastructure to support over 1 million API users
  • Partner with researchers to productionize new techniques
  • Work with customers and Applied teams to inform product design
  • Contribute across backend services, inference infrastructure, SDKs, and tooling

Must have

  • Strong backend engineering experience
  • Experience building and supporting machine learning infrastructure in production
  • Experience building and supporting customer-facing APIs in production
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity
  • Genuine curiosity about AI/ML
  • Strong collaboration skills working with researchers and engineers
