What you would do
- Design and ship customer-facing APIs for new model capabilities
- Scale inference infrastructure to support over 1 million API users
- Partner with researchers to productionize new techniques
- Work with customers and Applied teams to inform product design
- Contribute across backend services, inference infrastructure, SDKs, and tooling
- Own APIs from prototype through launch and iteration
Must have
- Strong backend engineering experience
- Experience building and supporting machine learning infrastructure in production
- Experience building and supporting customer-facing APIs in production
- Comfort operating with ambiguity
- Genuine curiosity about AI/ML
- Strong collaboration skills with researchers and engineers
