The role

About Allegiant Air

What you would do
- Develop and maintain data marts and data warehouses.
- Migrate on-premise infrastructure to the AWS environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL processes.
- Implement data quality checks for accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and ETL pipeline issues.
- Design and implement data transformation, conversion, and validation for BI applications.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Experience in data mart development and data warehousing.
- Experience with ETL processes, OLAP structures, and dimensional modeling.
- Strong SQL Server and Amazon Redshift skills.
- In-depth understanding of database architecture.
- Basic proficiency in AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Results-driven and able to work in a high-pressure environment.

- Python development skills.
