The role
This is a founding-level role at Lekondo, an AI-native fashion platform, where you will own the machine-learning systems that power the core product. The role is split between AI/ML work, including computer vision and auto-linking pipelines, and general product/backend engineering in Go. You will have significant ownership and a path to leading the AI team as the company scales.

About Infragrid
Lekondo is building a platform to serve as a digital home for fashion cultures, allowing users to connect, express themselves, and celebrate their styles. The product is live, and users upload outfits daily, with AI at its core to detect, segment, classify, and match clothing items.
What you would do
- Own the model strategy, including routing, fallback, and cost/quality tradeoffs.
- Own the auto-linking pipeline, improving precision, recall, and decision thresholds.
- Own computer vision systems, including segmentation, background removal, and generation.
- Own model quality and evals, including prompts, calibration, and evaluation harnesses.
- Ship backend code in Go, including APIs, Lambdas, and data modeling.
- Optimize performance and caching across the read path.
Must have
- Systems thinker who operates at the architecture and design level.
- Ambitious and fast-learning, comfortable with AI tooling.
- Hands-on experience in ML/AI, such as LLMs, computer vision, or embeddings.
- Strong backend engineering in a typed language at scale.
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure and MLOps on AWS and GCP.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environment.
Nice to have
- Great taste and design sense.
- Love for fashion and would use the product.
- Experience with DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
- Experience with Go.
- Experience with React Native for full-stack work.
