Tsenta review (2026): is Tsenta AI worth it, and who should use it?

We make Apiva. Read this knowing that.

Tsenta works a lot like Apiva, so this is the review where our bias matters most. Everything about Tsenta below comes from their homepage, their terms, their Y Combinator profile, their App Store and Chrome Web Store listings, and their Trustpilot page, all checked on 17 October 2026. Their prices are on their homepage, which made this one easier to check.

Is Tsenta legit?

Yes. The company is Tsenta, Inc., which is the name in their site footer and the seller named on their App Store listing. Their Y Combinator profile lists them in the Summer 2026 batch, founded in 2026, with a team of two in San Francisco.

They're new, so there isn't much review history yet. On 17 October 2026 the iPhone app had 3.4 out of 5 from 90 ratings. The Chrome extension showed 5.0 from 8 ratings and 10,000 users. Their Trustpilot profile, claimed in July 2026, had no reviews at all.

Their terms carry an effective date of 23 September 2025. They don't name the company or give an address, and they don't cover subscriptions or refunds. The homepage promises you can "Stop billing in one click". For anything about refunds, you'd need to ask them.

The short version

Tsenta watches career pages and sends a tailored résumé when a fitting role appears. Your first 25 applications are free, and paid plans start at $19 a month.

Here's the part we'd rather not say but should. At every price, Tsenta's plans include more applications than ours. Starter is $19 at both, and theirs covers 600 applications where ours covers 200.

So why might you still pick Apiva? Our free 25 come back every month. Tsenta's page describes its free tier as your "first 25" applications and doesn't say that allowance renews. Apiva also only ever applies to jobs you've approved. Tsenta's FAQ lets you choose "more automated behavior", and its homepage pitches the whole thing as "Hands off." If you mainly want the most applications per dollar, Tsenta is a strong choice and we'd say so to a friend.

What Tsenta actually does

Their homepage says Tsenta watches 50,000+ company career pages and "submits a tailored resume the moment a fitting role goes up", with "Hundreds of applications a week." It covers many hiring systems. The same page says nineteen in one place and 30+ in another.

For each role it rewrites your résumé from the job description. Their FAQ says you "can review and edit it before submission or choose more automated behavior in your settings." Open-ended questions get answered from your résumé, and a successful application can produce a receipt showing what was sent.

You can use it on the web, on iPhone and Android, over iMessage or WhatsApp, through a Chrome extension, or from an AI assistant. Connecting your email inbox is optional. If you do, their FAQ says it reads job-related mail so your tracker updates itself, including codes employers send mid-application. It can also save draft replies to recruiters for you to send yourself.

Two things on their pages are worth reading slowly.

The first is the résumé demo on their homepage. The original line "Built features for the web app using React." becomes "Shipped distributed React + TS surfaces serving 4M MAU; cut p95 render time 38%." That's a demo, and the homepage says each change is "shown to you, never silently sent". That review is a setting, though. Their FAQ lets you choose "more automated behavior" instead. The figures in the new line weren't in the old one. Whatever tool rewrites your résumé, ours included, read every number in it and make sure it's yours.

The second is email. Their terms say they will "only access your emails for the purpose of detecting and autofilling one-time passwords (OTPs)." The homepage FAQ describes more than that. The terms are dated September 2025, so read both before you connect an inbox.

Tsenta pricing (checked October 2026)

From the pricing section of their homepage, monthly billing:

Plan Price Applications
Free start $0, no card First 25
Starter $19 / month 600 per 30-day cycle
Pro (marked most popular) $39 / month 1,500 per 30-day cycle
Power $99 / month 4,500 per 30-day cycle

The page says "Every tier is the full product" and "Pay only for jobs actually submitted." There are quarterly and annual options too, which we didn't capture, so we've only quoted the monthly prices.

The App Store lists the same plans as in-app purchases at $19.99, $39.99 and $99.99 a month.

Apiva pricing

Plan Price Applications a month
Free $0, no card 25, every month
Starter $19 / month up to 200
Pro $39 / month up to 600
Scale $99 / month up to 1,500

Every plan is the full product, and tiers only differ by volume. Quarterly prices ($49, $79 and $239) are published, but quarterly billing isn't open yet. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Cancel any time and you keep your plan to the end of the period you paid for, though a part-used month isn't refunded. More on the pricing page.

Use all 200 Starter credits and each application costs as low as about 10 cents. Fewer than that, and each one costs more.

What you get with Apiva

You pick from a job feed built from a corpus of 50,000+ US company career pages, rescanned on a daily cycle, or paste a link to a US job you found anywhere. Nothing goes out until you approve it, and there's no setting that changes that.

Our AI completes the application and tailors your résumé to the role. Skills get added only if your own résumé shows them, and you can review every change before it goes.

If a form needs an answer only you have, it shows as "Needs your answer". Reply, and it carries on from there. When an attempt stops, it's marked "Will be retried" and no credit is used. Confirmed applications each keep a saved confirmation you can open.

For sponsorship, Apiva answers from the work status you've given us. Questions about race or veteran status are answered from what you've chosen to share. Where you've shared nothing, it goes with the form's decline option or asks you first.

When Tsenta is the better pick

You want volume for your money. 600 applications for $19 is a lot. If you're applying widely and fast, say on an OPT clock, that matters.

You want to apply from your phone or chat. iMessage, WhatsApp and native mobile apps are all there. Apiva is a web app.

You'd like your inbox to do the tracking. Connect your email and Tsenta can move applications along as replies arrive.

When Apiva is the better pick

Apiva makes more sense if you'll apply in short bursts over a long search. The 25 free applications reset each month, so in a quiet month you may not need a paid plan at all. There's also no automatic mode to switch on by mistake, because approval is the only way an application goes out.

It also suits you if you want each credit tied to a confirmed submission, with the confirmation saved where you can open it later.

Bottom line

Tsenta is a real, YC-backed company with a product close to ours, and on applications per dollar it beats us. If that's what matters most to you, try their free 25.

If a free allowance that comes back each month matters more to you than raw volume, start with Apiva's 25 free applications a month, no card.

One small thing if you choose Tsenta. Subscribe on their website, not inside the iPhone app. On 17 October 2026 the in-app prices were 99 cents higher on every plan.

Approve the jobs. We’ll get them applied to.

The free tier is 25 applications every month, no card. A credit is only spent when a submission is confirmed, so a failed application costs you nothing.

applications confirmed submitted so far. That number is live, and it only counts applications an employer actually received.
