What you would do
- Assist individuals in maximizing strengths and building positive relationships
- Support people to meet personal goals and facilitate community connections
- Supervise and protect individuals, ensuring safety at all times
- Manage crisis situations and adhere to policies and regulations
- Implement individualized service and behavior support plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment
Must have
- At least 18 years of age
- Meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working with people with I/DD
- Ability to assist with ADLs and handle bodily fluids
- Basic computer skills including email and Workday
- Obtain SCIP-R certification within one year
- Obtain additional certifications as required within one year
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to work beyond scheduled hours and holidays
- Valid driver's license and van certification for transport roles
