What you would do
- Supervise and support nursing staff during evening shifts
- Provide clinical guidance to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and care team
- Monitor resident care and ensure care plans are followed
- Respond to changes in condition and medical emergencies
- Communicate with physicians, families, and healthcare professionals
- Conduct rounds and assess residents for condition changes
Must have
- Current and unrestricted New York State RN license
- Minimum 1 year nurse experience in long-term care
- Previous nursing experience required
- Supervisor or clinical lead experience over multiple units
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support nursing team
- Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate, professional, and dependable approach to care
