What you would do
- Conduct resident room rounds every two hours for toileting, repositioning, and hydration.
- Perform walking rounds at shift change to ensure room tidiness and care continuity.
- Report unusual symptoms or signs of illness or skin breakdown to the charge nurse.
- Administer bed baths daily and showers twice weekly unless declined by resident.
- Distribute meal trays and assist residents with eating and documenting intake.
- Provide daily personal care including oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting assistance.
Must have
- Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from Virginia.
- CDP designation and Agape CNA Skills Review within first 90 days.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
- Ability to regularly and safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to use healthcare equipment like lifts, thermometer, and blood pressure cuff.

- Prior work experience as a Nurse Aide.
