What you would do
- Manage pharmacy technician staff and students, including workflow and performance reviews
- Monitor team members' progress and performance of daily responsibilities
- Assess new technician hires during training, providing feedback and instruction
- Provide annual hazardous drug training and coaching to pharmacy technicians
- Provide hands-on training on admixing techniques, workflows, and best practices
- Serve as an internal operations subject matter expert for new-hire pharmacy staff
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, leadership, or related field
- Minimum five years of oncology IV mixing and retail pharmacy experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- PTCB certification or equivalent
- State Board of Pharmacy registration in Tennessee
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Completion of accredited compounding pharmacy technician certification program
- State Board of Pharmacy registration in Mississippi
