What you would do
- Perform accurate testing of patient specimens per lab protocols
- Report test results accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance
- Manage lab resources including supplies and equipment
- Adhere to safety standards and handle hazardous materials
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or natural science
- Current Tennessee Medical Technologist or Special Analyst licensure
- Basic knowledge of lab procedures and instrumentation
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems
- Effective communication with patients and teams
- Organizational skills and independent work ability
- Physical ability to handle up to 50 lbs
- Visual acuity for detailed laboratory work
