This role provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals with substance use disorders in outpatient behavioral health programs co-located within housing facilities in Philadelphia. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations. The position is based at two locations in Philadelphia.

What you would do
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for residents.
- Collaborate with medical and program directors on resident care plans.
- Ensure initial psychiatric evaluations are completed and co-signed timely.
- Attend regular case conferences with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain documentation compliant with clinic, state, and federal regulations.
- Treat residents, staff, and partners with courtesy and respect.
Must have
- Nurse Practitioner certification in Pennsylvania.
- Psychiatric clinical rotation experience.
- Minimum one year experience with adults.
- Current DEA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders.
- Knowledge of withdrawal management and treatment alternatives.
- Strong active listening and oral comprehension skills.
- Ability to document care in Electronic Health Record.
- Meet DOH, DBHIDS, and CBH staffing requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience providing care to those with substance use history.
- Bilingual capabilities.
