What you would do
- Oversee pharmacy technicians in compounding, filling, labeling, and prepackaging
- Perform final verification of prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with Customer Care to clarify prescriptions and obtain refill authorizations
- Provide pharmacist oversight during compounding to ensure quality standards
- Ensure operations comply with USP, California Board, and federal regulations
- Serve as a resource and guide for pharmacy technicians and team members
Must have
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in California
- Knowledge of USP standards and California Board regulations
- Knowledge of Section 503A of Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for fast-paced environments
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and collaborate
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
