What you would do
- Submit dental claims accurately and on time
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with patients about billing and payments
- Stay current on dental billing regulations and guidelines
- Assist with monthly billing reports and audits
Must have
- Previous dental billing experience required
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance claims and coding
- Proficiency with Dentrix Asend software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Handle sensitive patient information confidentially
- Reliably commute to Brooklyn, NY
