What you would do
- Process and review subcontractor AIAs for accuracy
- Attend pencil meetings with Owner and Architect for pay applications
- Coordinate subcontractor invoices and payments per contract terms
- Review and interpret client contracts, subcontractor documents, and payment terms
- Generate billings in Timberline and future ERP system
- Process accounts receivable and respond to billing inquiries
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- At least 5 years of project accounting experience in construction
- Experience with core and shell, ground up, or interior build outs
- Knowledge of construction cost coding, pricing, and purchase orders
- Understanding of contract types like CM as Agent, GMP, Lump Sum, Cost Plus
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects
- Proactive communication with management, project team, and subcontractors
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to provide excellent client service and support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong Excel skills including Xlookups, Sumifs, and multi-tab worksheets
