What you would do

  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to deliver quality accounting services
  • Assign work to staff based on their knowledge and capabilities
  • Support training of staff and interns, reviewing their work and providing feedback
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting functions for clients
  • Conduct month-end activities including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports for clients

Must have

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
  • 3-6 years of full-time private or public accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting concepts and GAAP
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Online and other accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong compliance and accounting skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt from client to client
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
