What you would do
- Process direct bill premium payments via various methods
- Own cash application and post payments accurately
- Apply credits, endorsements, and policy changes
- Reconcile daily payment batches and ensure balance
- Make decisions on payment exceptions and refunds
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up
Must have
- 3+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or cash application
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex billing structures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Ability to make sound decisions on exceptions independently
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
