About Fanatics Collectibles
Fanatics is building a global digital sports platform offering commerce, collectibles, and betting. Fanatics Collectibles, a subsidiary, designs and distributes trading cards and acquired Topps in 2022.
What you would do
- Lead external royalty and licensing audits
- Serve as primary contact for audit requests
- Prepare audit support schedules and reconciliations
- Review royalty reporting for compliance
- Resolve reporting discrepancies and audit findings
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and files
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years accounting experience with royalty or audit
- Direct experience supporting external royalty audits
- Strong understanding of royalty accounting and US GAAP
- Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX
- Experience interpreting complex contractual agreements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Self-motivated with process improvement mindset
Nice to have
- CPA certification
- Experience with ERP implementations or royalty systems
- Experience with process transformation initiatives
Experience and education
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
