What you would do

  • Run the monthly close and deliver a fast, accurate flash
  • Manage revenue recognition and job costing for projects
  • Prepare financial packages and variance analysis
  • Manage a 13-week forward-looking cash flow forecast
  • Maintain and improve controls, budgets, and KPIs
  • Work in the operating company's ERP and support system implementations

Must have

  • 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Hands-on ownership of the monthly close
  • Strong command of GAAP
  • Fluency in reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Experience running close and reporting across multiple entities
  • Comfort in accounting systems like QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan
  • Strong Excel and data-modeling skills
  • Self-direction to bring structure to ambiguity

Nice to have

  • Public accounting foundation
  • Project-based, construction, or inventory-heavy experience
  • Experience supervising a small team
  • CPA certification
