What you would do
- Lead the credit underwriting function for timely and accurate loan analysis
- Monitor loan maturities and coordinate with Private Client Group for timely renewals
- Ensure appropriate identification and application of loan policies
- Manage a team of 7 including staffing, training, and performance
- Establish and monitor internal controls to minimize credit risk
- Serve as a resource for structuring deals and approving policy exceptions
Must have
- Minimum 10+ years commercial credit experience at a lending institution
- Formal credit training through bank program or higher education
- Minimum 7 years of direct team leadership experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of integrity and personal ethics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adherence to all applicable policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree required
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree focus in finance or accounting
- Related Master's degree in finance or accounting
- Commensurate experience in lieu of degree
- Experience as a lender
- Familiarity with Loan Operating System or Credit Underwriting Software like Abrigo
