What you would do

  • Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through mentoring and goal setting.
  • Drive delivery and accountability by tracking performance and removing roadblocks.
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership to deliver high-quality results.
  • Champion engineering excellence through department-wide initiatives and process improvements.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance on enterprise web applications and data processing.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to identify technical gaps.

Must have

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and leveraging AI-driven solutions.
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience across multiple skill levels.
  • Direct technical experience with enterprise web applications and high-performance data processing.
  • Experience with Ruby/Rails.
  • Proven track record of building, growing, and retaining high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills to present to diverse audiences.
  • Experience driving department-level initiatives and process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly with MDR platforms.
  • Track record of mentoring and developing other engineering managers.
