What you would do

  • Define software design specifications and implement bug-free code using test-driven methodology and AI tools.
  • Design, develop, and optimize system networking and security features for high-performance applications.
  • Apply software design principles and troubleshooting to deliver scalable and resilient improvements.
  • Work with architects, product managers, and customers to understand use cases and review PRDs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system-related issues.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Must have

  • 12+ years designing large-scale, reliable, scalable software systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure public cloud.
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts and services.
  • Knowledge of Transit Gateway, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, NACLs, security groups, GWLB, ILB, Route 53, Azure DNS.
  • Foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and applying AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong software design, profiling, and verification skills.
  • Experience optimizing systems for scale and performance.
  • Preferably experienced in Python and/or Go.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing and building distributed systems and SaaS platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop highly available, resilient, scalable services in production.
  • Deep understanding of firewalls, network security principles, and core networking protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex traffic flows and enforce secure connectivity.
  • Hands-on familiarity with architecting Firewall-as-a-Service solutions on AWS, GCP, Azure.
