Must have
- Took ML systems to production and owned post-launch
- Technical leadership as individual contributor
- Classical ML expertise beyond language models
- Supervised learning and feature engineering on messy tabular data
- Apply statistics to decisions like experiment design
- Calibrated scores under class imbalance
- Deployed language processing at scale
- Text classification, information extraction, entity linking on multilingual text
- Built and operated LLM agents in production
- Tool and context design and failure analysis from traces
- Evaluation using LLM judges validated against human labels
- Proficient in production Python and strong SQL
Nice to have
- Experience with ranking and retrieval
- Embeddings, learned re-ranking, metrics like recall@k
- Propensity modeling, clustering, or entity resolution experience
- Trained and served open-weight models in PyTorch
- Tracked cost per unit of work
- Defended LLM systems against adversarial inputs
- Worked on web-scale information extraction or knowledge graphs
