What you would do
- Embed with commercial teams to understand workflows and identify AI opportunities
- Translate business problems into technical requirements and delivery plans
- Build, integrate, and deploy agentic solutions
- Extend internal GenAI platform with integrations, connectors, and MCP servers
- Apply AI techniques like LLMs, RAG, and forecasting to trading problems
- Communicate requirements and patterns to foundational engineering teams
Must have
- Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, or related field
- Fluency in Python for applied AI and engineering
- Clean, modular, well-documented code with software engineering best practices
- Minimum 3 years in software engineering, AI, ML, or data science
- Practical understanding of GenAI concepts like prompt engineering and RAG
- Proficiency with GenAI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Experience with cloud platforms, AWS preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
- Collaborative, non-political style with high integrity
- Strong curiosity for emerging AI developments and continuous learning
- Intellectual curiosity about commodities markets and energy flows
