What you would do
- Own North America payment application portfolio and quarterly planning
- Triage demand intake from customers, commercial teams, and stakeholders
- Build and publish prioritized quarterly roadmaps with backlog grooming
- Maintain operational plan and monthly roadmap status reporting
- Partner with L3 certification team on certification-impacting initiatives
- Write and own PRDs for material initiatives
Must have
- 10+ years in product management or technical program management in payments
- Hands-on expertise in card-present, in-store payment environments
- Deep knowledge of semi-integrated and fully integrated payment architectures
- Direct experience with EMV certification L1/L2/L3 and kernel certification
- Working knowledge of processor and acquirer certification ecosystem
- Familiarity with PCI PTS, PCI DSS, P2PE, tokenization, and key management
- Experience with Android-based payment device platforms
- Ability to read and interrogate technical specifications and API contracts
- High fluency in Jira and Confluence for backlog and program management
- Comfortable with Salesforce pipeline data and quarterly grooming models
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience as product owner across multiple teams
- Demonstrated ability to author PRDs and support BRD development

- Direct familiarity with Verifone's payment application portfolio
- Experience spanning payment gateway products and terminal applications
- Experience serving ISV and VAR channels alongside direct customers
- Experience managing product-side strategic partnerships with processors
- Background in New Product Introduction and hardware readiness sequencing
- Familiarity with cellular carrier certification for payment devices
- Exposure to MPoC/SoftPOS, mobile acceptance, or unattended payment environments
- Prior experience in global product organization with regional accountability
