TrueTandem seeks a Senior Azure Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain enterprise-scale cloud platforms for an Intelligence Community member. What you would do
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Architect and sustain Azure infrastructure services per CAF and Well-Architected Framework
- Implement Azure governance with Management Groups, Subscriptions, Policies, and RBAC
- Configure and manage Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificates
- Design and support Azure storage solutions with data protection and backup
Must have
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- 5+ years supporting Tier II Azure environments or 3+ years supporting Tier III enterprise Azure
- Experience designing Azure enterprise landing zones with CAF
- Deep expertise in Azure governance including Management Groups, Subscriptions, Policies, RBAC
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking including Virtual WAN, VNets, NSGs
- Experience administering Azure Virtual Desktop environments
- Strong understanding of Azure security, monitoring, and operational practices
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, TIC 3.0
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Azure infrastructure issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation
Nice to have
- Microsoft Azure certifications like AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700, or AZ-305
- Experience supporting IC, DoD, or classified federal cloud environments
- Knowledge of Bicep, ARM templates, or additional IaC frameworks
- Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Experience with Power Platform integration in Azure
- Familiarity with AOAI embedded features and Copilot capabilities
- Knowledge of workload migration and hybrid cloud strategies
- Understanding of Microsoft licensing models and subscription management
