The director will lead a team of 12 security engineers, own the practice's financial performance, and personally review audit findings. What you would do
- Lead technical delivery and own quality and profitability of engagements.
- Review audit findings and guide technical direction on complex audits.
- Maintain direct relationships with most important clients.
- Make project assignment decisions balancing engineer development, client needs, and profitability.
- Manage utilization, identify hiring needs, and build pipeline through intern program.
- Own the practice's profit and loss.
Must have
- 10+ years in security with significant source code audit experience.
- Recent hands-on security work within the last 12 months.
- Experience leading a team of 8+ engineers with financial accountability.
- Proficiency in at least 4 of: Rust, Go, Python, C/C++, Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Track record of managing project profitability, utilization, and staffing.
- Experience building team members' careers and external visibility.
- Proficiency with AI coding and analysis tools in own work.
- Active contributions to the security community.
