About Thinking Machines

What you would do
- Architect and scale core infrastructure for foundation models
- Build and run large Kubernetes clusters with GPU workloads
- Design and optimize data pipelines using Spark and other tools
- Develop tooling and systems for developer productivity
- Collaborate with researchers to accelerate experiments and improve efficiency
- Own projects end-to-end across the full technical stack
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or similar
- Proficiency in Python or Rust
- Experience operating large-scale clusters and container orchestration
- Comfort operating across the stack and owning projects end-to-end
- Thrive in collaborative cross-functional environment
- Bias for action and initiative across teams
Nice to have
- Strong debugging across application, OS, and network layers
- Proficiency in Python or Rust, containers, and modern CI
- Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators or performance profiling
- Familiarity with GPU/ML workflows or large-scale data/eval pipelines
