What you would do
- Own the full lifecycle of ML/AI products from prototype to production.
- Build automated systems for data quality, accuracy, and coverage.
- Set standards for scalable, robust, production-ready ML models.
- Help shape the data science team's roadmap and priorities (senior role).
- Mentor other data scientists and raise team practices (senior role).
Must have
- 3+ years building and shipping models in Python in fast-paced environment (5+ for senior).
- Hands-on collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Strong ML, stats, and data fundamentals (PySpark, pandas, SQL).
- Product mindset focused on customer value, not just model accuracy.
- Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
- Uses AI tools like coding assistants and LLMs in workflow.
- Able to work remotely within US or Canada, or hybrid in NYC.
- For senior: 5+ years with end-to-end ownership of ML/AI products.
- For senior: Shipped customer-facing ML/AI-powered products.
- For senior: Track record of mentoring and raising team standards.
