What you would do
- Research and build episodic and semantic memory systems.
- Debug lock-free ring-buffer bugs in hardware firmware.
- Harden Temporal workflows for reliable audio processing.
- Fix mobile audio pipelines to handle poor network conditions.
- Explore real-time audio processing and speaker identification.
- Write native macOS/Windows code for desktop app audio capture.
Must have
- Proficient in agentic coding with tools like Claude Code or Codex.
- Systems-first thinking and product judgment.
- Track record of shipping real products to production.
- Comfortable working across the entire stack including hardware.
- Embraces radical transparency and recording work sessions.
- Tinkerer with side projects and exploratory mindset.
- Curious about domains outside immediate expertise.
- Willing to take calculated risks on unproven paths.
Nice to have
- Previous leadership experience as engineering manager or tech lead.
