About Pedestal Health
Pedestal Health partners with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, providers, and payers to generate multimodal evidence for clinical and regulatory decisions across the care lifecycle.
What you would do
- Design and implement data pipelines and software for operational efficiency.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python with strong SQL focus.
- Support and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Develop and modify databases for internal applications.
- Collaborate with operations and product teams on deployment and testing.
Must have
- 3+ years software development experience in data engineering or backend.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools like GitLab or GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
Nice to have
- Experience with machine learning pipelines or models.
- Exposure to Generative AI or LLM frameworks like Langchain or LangGraph.
- Knowledge of distributed computing tools like Spark or Dask.
- Background in healthcare, life sciences, or clinical data.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
