About Mysten Labs

What you would do
- Set design vision and principles with product and engineering leadership.
- Own end-to-end experience for DeepBook spot, margin, prediction, and liquidity products.
- Lead design of core user journeys like onboarding, funding, and order entry.
- Design for diverse audiences including retail, DeFi users, and institutions.
- Remain hands-on in high-priority work, from framing to prototyping and testing.
- Build a scalable design system for dense financial data and interactions.
Must have
- 10+ years of product design experience.
- Experience leading, hiring, and developing designers.
- Portfolio showing exceptional craft and leadership impact.
- Experience designing trading, fintech, or high-stakes products.
- Fluency in DeFi and direct experience with onchain products.
- Ability to discuss swaps, order books, liquidity, and settlement.
- Strong product judgment and strategy shaping record.
- Skill in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Experience building design systems and operating practices.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and changing inputs.
- Experience with complex, data-dense products.
- Ability to design for retail and professional users.
Nice to have
- Experience leading design for an exchange or order book product.
- Experience with derivatives, margin, or prediction market design.
- Experience with retail and professional trading experiences.
- Familiarity with Sui, Move, or programmable transaction blocks.
- Experience designing in regulated financial categories.
- Prior experience as founder, design executive, or trader.
