What you would do
- Diagnose and resolve rendering, memory, and layout performance issues
- Define and improve performance targets using monitoring and profiling tools
- Establish performance budgets, dashboards, and alerts
- Raise organizational performance capabilities through mentoring and tooling
- Profile production bottlenecks and analyze memory usage
- Identify code paths causing delays or instability
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte
- Expert-level proficiency with Chrome DevTools, React Profiler, Lighthouse, and performance traces
- Senior-level technical leadership skills including influencing architecture decisions
- Strong understanding of browser internals including JavaScript execution and rendering
- Proven experience improving Core Web Vitals using real-user data
- Hands-on experience diagnosing memory leaks with heap snapshots and allocation profiles
- Ability to optimize rendering, hydration, bundle size, and main-thread work
