What you would do

  • Develop state of charge, health, and power algorithms for lithium-sulfur batteries
  • Develop and maintain embedded governing software for BMS controllers
  • Lead integration of BMS hardware and software with battery packs
  • Test and validate BMS systems with lithium-sulfur battery packs
  • Collaborate across teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Write and maintain technical documentation

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in battery management system engineering
  • Experience developing BMS software and state estimation algorithms
  • Experience with BMS and battery modeling in Simulink
  • Familiarity with BMS hardware
  • Experience with BMS controls like cell balancing and protection
  • Strong computer programming skills
  • Ability to wear PPE and stand for prolonged periods

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of drone hardware and flight profiles
